These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made for training courses delivered on site by Oak Leaf Training Limited (“Oak Leaf”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By booking and/or attending a course, the attendee (“you”, “your”) agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.


1. Course Bookings

  • All course bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Oak Leaf Training Limited.

  • A booking is only secured once full payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Course details, dates, content, and duration are correct at the time of publication but may be subject to reasonable change.


2. Fees and Payment

  • Course fees must be paid in full prior to the course start date.

  • Prices are quoted in GBP and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

  • Oak Leaf reserves the right to refuse attendance if payment has not been received in full.


3. Cancellations and Refunds (By the Attendee)

Refunds are available as follows:

  • 100% refund if cancellation is requested 4 weeks or more prior to the course start date.

  • 50% refund if cancellation is requested 2 weeks prior to the course start date.

  • No refund will be given if cancellation is requested less than 2 weeks before the course start date.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing (email is acceptable).


4. Non-Attendance

  • Failure to attend the course, in whole or in part, for any reason will result in 0% refund.

  • This includes lateness, early departure, illness, travel disruption, or personal circumstances.


5. Cancellation by Oak Leaf Training Limited

  • Oak Leaf reserves the right to cancel a course up to 7 days prior to the scheduled start date due to:

    • Insufficient attendee numbers, or

    • Circumstances beyond our control (including, but not limited to, instructor illness).

  • In the event of cancellation by Oak Leaf:

    • A 100% refund of the course fee will be issued.

    • No additional compensation (including travel or accommodation costs) will be payable.


6. Behaviour and Conduct

  • Attendees are expected to behave in a professional, respectful, and safe manner at all times.

  • Oak Leaf reserves the right to ask any attendee to leave the course due to disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour.

  • In such cases, no refund will be given.


7. Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Attendees must follow all health and safety instructions provided during the course.

  • Oak Leaf reserves the right to refuse participation if an attendee’s actions pose a risk to themselves, others, or property.

  • Appropriate clothing, footwear, and personal protective equipment (where applicable) must be worn.


8. Certification

  • Certificates or proof of training will only be issued where the attendee:

    • Attends the full course (unless otherwise specified), and

    • Meets any required assessment or competency standards.


9. Data Protection (GDPR)

  • Oak Leaf Training Limited complies with UK GDPR and Data Protection legislation.

  • We collect only the information necessary to:

    • Process course bookings,

    • Manage communication with attendees, and

    • Issue certificates or proof of training upon course completion.

  • Personal data will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or for certification purposes.


10. Liability

  • Oak Leaf Training Limited shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot be excluded by law.

  • Attendees are responsible for their own personal belongings while on site.


11. Force Majeure

  • Oak Leaf shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, fire, flood, government restrictions, or illness.


12. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
