Utility Arboriculture Tree Species recognition, growth characteristics and associated hazards City and Guilds Level 3 qualification number (0038-31) – 20th May

This qualification is for someone looking to advance their career within into the utility arboriculture sector and currently hold the Basic electrical knowledge qualification.
This is classroom based and field trip based learning for one day and an additional day for an independent assessment.
Within this course you will learn who to identify the different species of trees from broad leaved to conifer species. Be able to identify some decay fungi which cause problems structurally. Be able to recognise and explain the different electrical pruning types of work carried out around the network. You will also learn about the different growth characteristics and associated hazards for trees.
There are a maximum of six people on a course at any one time.
